If you are likely to make changes to your order that will result in a higher total than was pre-authorized at the time of purchase, you will need to re-enter your credit card information using a link we’ll send you or submit another order as we are unable to collect more than what was originally authorized.
In order to avoid this, you can check the Additional pre-auth checkbox on the order page to pre-authorize 20% more of your subtotal to cover any potential differences in price.
Your credit/debit card portal will show the higher amount, however, you will NOT be charged the extra 20% as it is removed immediately after checking out. Your e-mailed order confirmation will reflect this. Only the actual order amount will be charged.
Just as gas stations and restaurants pre-authorize a higher amount as the total is variable, this gives us the flexibility to adjust your order without the need for you to have to re-enter your credit card information or to submit another order.
